About Us

Country Gentlemen opened in May 1974 at 720 North Main Street, North Syracuse, NY. Ronald Landers, Sr. and Ada Landers renovated a private residence into what started as a hardware and plumbing specialty store. Through the years, the business changed and evolved into the specialized field of kitchen and bathroom remodeling.

Early on Ron decided he wanted to work with home owners and not builders. The showroom underwent many changes through the years. The hardware disappeared and in its place came whirlpool tubs and spas. After a few years, the spas went out and bathroom displays with toilers, vanities, faucets and medicine cabinets came in. Now there is a combination of bathroom and kitchen displays with countertops and tile on display. The showroom keeps changing because the tastes of the public keep changing.

Country Gentlemen is still family owned today by Ron and Ada's Son-in-Law and daughter Bill and Cindy Mannise.
